Traverse City Lighthouse Engagement

Traverse City is home to some of the most beautiful lighthouses in Michigan. Mission Point Lighthouse is no exception! M & F Braved the cold with me to capture some memories in a gorgeous Traverse City Lighthouse Engagement Session.

After a 3 hour drive from Grand Haven, I was more than happy to stretch my legs and adventure around Mission Point, scoping out locations for us to shoot. The sun glinted off the ice, and there were even a few sandbars that made it look like you were walking on water!

The cold never got these two down for a second – they were perfectly happy to run up and down the lakeshore, laughing and cuddling up to each other. Every photo portrayed perfectly how they feel about each other.

There is nothing more ‘Pure Michigan’ than a cozy Traverse City lighthouse engagement session. The folks over at Mission point even strung some fairy lights up in the lighthouse! It could not have been more perfect.

The sun began to set, revealing a perfectly coordinating display of colors. I swear the sunset was just for them! The pink and orange hues complemented their outfits beautifully.

I always complain about how I hate the cold, but I’ll take a wintery engagement session like this any day.
